Through her work as a personal assistant to her husband Phil for over 20 years, she has developed a tried and true method for getting things done. Carmen is active in the Lincoln, Maine community. In the past she served on the Advisory Board for the Partnership for a Healthy Northern Penobscot and was a member of the SPRINT coalition.  Most recently, Carmen served as  the 2019 president  of the Greater Bangor Area Realtors, currently sits on its board of directors and served previously as its treasurer . She also currently serves at the treasurer of the Lincoln Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Technology Committee for Maine LIstings.  She eholds both a Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and an Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from the University of Maine and has a background in laboratory science.

Carmen was born and raised in Presque Isle, Maine. Married to her husband Phil since 1989, she is a mother of two adult daughters and has lived in Lincoln Maine since 1986. Her personal interests include singing in the church choir, playing hand bells, learning to play piano, fly fishing, hiking and traveling as well as knitting, quilting, crocheting and sewing.
